Exactly. I figured that Jolie had botched it as soon as I saw the cinematographic sheen on the trailer.

The Alan Partridge movie was fantastic.

Of course if the show is any good and worth recording you wouldn't fall asleep in front of it in the first place.

Mickey Rooney was the best thing in the first Night… and he'll probably be the best thing in this one.

Libby,
The show was generally terrible but so were your reviews. Did you have to try so hard to make Sorkin's point for him each week?

What's to get - Charlie liked bow ties.

If you think 9 Overrated Films is an "arts article" YOU'RE THE PROBLEM!

Winter's Tale and a Soldier of the Great War are fantastic - as is all of Helprin's fiction.

WINTER'S TALE is such a wonderful novel but when I first saw it turn up on IMDB a few years ago with Akiva Goldsman attached I immediately wrote it off.

Jim shouldn't worry about Maggie being in Washington D.C., even if she got the job if she shows the same level of competence that she exhibited at ACN she'll be fired within a week.

I watched it and remember him having a Joe Garagiola Day.

>>>He will be missed,
This version of Letterman won't be missed at all but the NBC Late Night David Letterman has been missed for years.

Yes, because the category was comedy.

Walken was absolutely terrible. Cue cards? Did he just get the gig last week?

Sonia is leaving? Now who will we go to for freshman level analysis?

When Kenan is your MVP you have a bad show.

My favorite sitcom episode of all time is the TAXI episode where Jim burns down Louie's apartment and Louie has to decide on a dollar figure to ask from Jim's Dad as reimbursement.

The Nicholson scene was good but there is no breakfast restaurant on the planet - ever - that does not allow side orders of toast.

Taxi did this almost 35 years ago.

>>>The truth is, some really smart people are just not that into pop culture. Doesn't make them morons.
