I loved this show and mostly caught up with it on old USA Network reruns in the late 90s. Some underrated moments for me.

Not entirely sure that's fair. At no point in the show does Ross even consider, nor does anyone ever counsel him, to try to throw his legal rights around. He even refers to himself as a "secondary caregiver" later on. And still later, he seems content to just let Ben be entirely raised by Susan and Carol.
