Pete Townshend to Abbie Hoffman: "Get off my fucking stage!"

Yeah, Banmar. Out with it already.

I believe it's "Give me chastity and continence, but not yet."

    Man, this thread was fultz.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure John Mayer's music is unadulterated shit.

I think it was probably the might of the Who that caught Saul Rosenbear's car on fire.

That, my friend, was pretty funny.

Fuck all that noise. "Piggies", anyone? Oh, wait. That song sucks.

Yes, Modell, but Prince is a Minnesotan, and Target is a practically a local business to those in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. Plus Prince, is awesome. Pearl Jam…well, Pearl Jam is kind of weak.

    Boo.

Yeah, there was some really iffy casting in T3, but it's not like the story or action was handled that poorly. In sum, it was just fine, but nothing mindblowing.

Oh, come on. Was T3 all that bad? Great, no, but I think "adequate" is fair.

Oh, God. I don't know if I can forgive you that trespass, Jimbolaya. I only hope you can forgive yourself.

I just got into the Smiths after years of actually liking them without ever wanting to hear their music. Now I'm playing catch-up and enjoying it quite a lot.

Fidel: My experience with Television was the exact same.

Daydream Nation is still my favorite Sonic Youth record (and probably my favorite record of that decade), but Sister is always the one where after putting it on I find it first a pleasant surprise, then mind blowing. The Crime cover ("Hot Wire My Heart") is almost worth it alone. Awesome album.

Sidenote: Tom Waits and Ron Perlman are probably the same person.

I don't know what it is about Fun House, but the first time I listened to it (I think I was 16, so that was nine years ago), it became my favorite album of all time. It still is. I'll stop there since, I believe, it's literally impossible to say anything new about that album.

Maybe he was alluding to 18th-century political philosopher Benjamin Constant. What? I could be right.
