I haven't read any of those because I expected them to be horrible. And I'm at the point of my comic collecting career when I no longer can bring myself to do monthlies. Once they're in TPBs I'll probably look up which ones are the good ones and give them a shot. Probably sometime before they release the "Watchmen 2:

Is that a sarcastic font? Because I can't believe anyone would honestly believe that a scene featuring Tarantino trying to sound tough talking to Sam Jackson about "Dead Nigger Storage" could ever possibly be a good thing.

It was one of the first things I thought of as well. It really is incredible. And no mediocre movie adaptations can take that away from it.

Aw man, now she's gonna get Koskied. She seemed like such a nice girl, too.

Maine, at the top of the chart,
Has crushed my evil heart.

Right. Having watched it again recently, so much of it is really perfect right down to the camera angles. The only part of it I'd trim is the Miracle Max bit. Its a large part just Billy Crystal being Billy Crystal. But then again I don't really like Billy Crystal.

The Princess Bride is one which should make the list. Watched it again recently with my 6 year old son and 3 year old daughter and all three of us loved every minute of it.

Just recently rewatched Dumbo and was surprised to find that the movie I remember as the flying elephant movie in fact features maybe five minutes of flying elephant at the end. Its mostly a circuses suck and lady elephants are bitchy movie.

I watched Terriers on Netflix a while back and for the first part agreed with the general consensus that it was awesome and unimpeachable. (SPOILERS FOLLOW)  When the older guy starts mentioning things being misplaced and the episode continues as normal then at the final credits you see someone climb up into his attic

Close Shave and WereRabbit are pretty awesome too.

Exactly. Anyone who focuses on the environmental and consumerism aspects is missing the best part of the movie. The fat human lovey bits do detract a bit from the robot ones though. But the bit near the end is just gut wrenchingly sad.

I hated New Kids, and Backstreet Boys, and every other flavor of boy bands, but there's something about One Direction which is somehow less offensive. Not that I'd ever buy a CD, but I'm not dreading putting one of their tracks on my 6 year old's birthday CD like I imagine I'll be asked to do.

I seem to remember enjoying it on a Chipmunk's record when I was a kid.

Watched it on Vudu a while back and it was pretty good.

She came and she brought me a turkey (while I was on my vacation from worky).

We also did Poe in 8th grade and I memorized The Conqueror Worm, which I still remember most of to this day, a mostly pointless ability. Its hard to work "Mimes, in the form of God on high" into casual conversation. Except maybe in France.

I think I've read that manga.

Tender Hearted

From the first episode, looks like some minimal name checking.

If by worst you mean most awesome, I fully agree. Though now that I think about it, its somewhat unlikely that you mean that. At least you got the line right which is more than the article did.
