Nah. The theory was that hobbits were more immune to the corrupting influence of the ring than other races. The best we see anyone else do is refuse to take it when offered. I'm actually thankful we were spared a scene of some sort of eagle lord resolutely refusing to carry the ring any further lest he take it and

Same boat. I read the book (as part of a Jurrassic Park inspired read all Michael Crichton phase) and seem to remember liking it but all I remember of the film is it had a lot of blue in it. Probably not the best recommendation.

The score to Wreck-it Ralph was perfect and contributes to that giddy-ness. The fact that they actually wrote a theme song for Sugar Rush is pretty awesome.

Except you get the impression that dislike of the main charactre is something of the goal of the film. It doesn't sound particularly fun but occassionally in a fit of self-loathing I will watch a film which isn't fun and this sounds like it might work in that regard.

At least with the ranking questions you had the ability to just rank what you saw and N/A the rest. I always feel more awkward in situations where I have to pick best of A, B, or C and pick A because its all I've seen. At least this way there's the option for the scoring algorithm to weigh a single entry of 1

Wasn't Radagast associated with the moth that saves Gandalf from the top of Saruman's tower? I thought that was the man reason for his inclusion here, to flesh out the things from LOTR that weren't fully explained. Also that's why I believe we have the framing story. While The Hobbit was before LOTR, here it is being

Mostly I just want to learn about history but do not want to open a book. As mentioned below though, with James Ensor, James K Polk, and the Mesopotamians we're pretty much halfway there.

Agreed. Hovering Sombrero is one of my faves. Never really got the Mink Car hate, but I generally prefer L songs to F ones and I know that's not a gloal view.
