I think they had their own time travel logic. Its not the single perfect thread kind I prefer but more the myriad constantly evolving strands kind. By its nature that one's susceptible to all kinds of logic issues, but when it gives you scenes like the grim way they got future Seth(?) its hard to fault it too much.

We saw Frankenweenie too and I'm amazed at the lukewarm reception its gotten.
