My problem with Lucy mostly centers on the action sequence pacing. She hits her basic invincibility too early for the final action sequence to be worth spending that amount of time on.

It did teach Hollywood that. The Divergent series, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, maybe Maze Runner (maybe not the lead, but a prominent character) … plus, of course, Mad Max: Fury Road, Lucy, and Ghost in the Shell which probably draw less of their lineage to the YA Hunger Games.
Moana was good, but fell a little flat to me (in part it had no real villain, and the ocean's friendship eliminated a big sense of danger). I'd definitely rate Wreck-It Ralph over it.
