Waitaminnit, more popular than *Tom* ? That's not possible!

And now Christmas has been canceled! Witness the consequences!

Well, if she had gotten elected with the huge wave of Democrats that had been predicted (in at least some circles) …

Yes. Spider-Man vs Venom should be a horror movie.

The final countdown to the ball dropping is going to be very tense.

It's public information whether you submitted a ballot. There's still the loophole of submitting it all blank!

Darkseid is probably worse. Probably.

The bits I see on YouTube make me feel like he's gotten back into his groove. I guess it's time to see if his renewed energy extends to his interviews (which were, sadly, the awkwardest part when he started).

I thought that it was a fantastic direction for Man of Steel, setting up for a very intriguing universe: this isn't the cartoon Superman , who's somehow kind of invulnerable and superstrong, and yet routinely thrown around in the same way that Batman or Flash are thrown around.

That'd be a really intriguing interpretation of that scene, and sounds like a great idea. But it doesn't look like that's what happened at all. At :45, Superman grabs the top of Zod's head and seems to pull it in the same direction as Zod was forcing.

I forgot completely about his financing.

If I understand it, he overexpanded. He built one casino, and then decided to build a bigger and splashier casino (against warnings from more experienced people). There was too much capacity, so the fixed expenses killed both. Plus, it also really hurt the other Atlantic City casinos.
