Black Mary Marvel and Evil Supergirl team up!

Not so much the review of the film, but the ancillary articles and commentary.

God Emperor is my favorite book in the series.

I've picked them up erratically over the years, so I haven't read them all; but a lot of the low numbered ones felt more like anthologies, with very visible seams as different authors wrote their chapters.

the more recent books are much more novelized.

It's more like Discworld; everything is set in the same world, with the same continuity, but there are small arcs that are complete series in themselves.

Huh. I guess I didn't spot that reference.

I never can read about Spring Heeled Jack without thinking about Astro City's Jack-in-the-Box superhero. The Harlequin of Justice, with footapults to enable him to leap from place to place!

So you disagree with one of the two examples. Fine. The larger point remains, that two equally moral or immoral things, can nonetheless have different real-world outcomes.

I absolutely agree with you on a similar statement: "If you believe female objectification is immoral, you must believe male objectification is immoral." And that's often the way objectification is presented, as a simple moral issue.

Coincidentally, do you also own a trained eagle?

Wait, I'm confused …she knew Internal Affairs was setting her up the whole time?

Could FBI Agent Mars show up to squabble over jurisdiction?

Yes. I really was enjoying it when I finally saw it — even with the very weak ending, I think it did a good job of claiming new territory.

Show's over, Synergy!

Does this look like a man who had all he wanted?

Enough already! We get that you don't favor the post-menopausal Cruel Intentions that the rest of the world is clamoring for.

Take your socialist agenda away from Duckberg. Wealth belongs to the person with the magical lucky penny, and nobody else.

I think about it irregularly while standing in line at the bank. It's got a way of sticking around in your head.

Nuns slap hands with a ruler when you pass notes. What do you think they'll do to somebody who crashes into their bus?
