I only laughed a few times at it, so I don't think it was successful in that regard as the original. It was more entertaining than, say, Pop Star, though.

Except I knew that RDJ kept talking about leaving. I thought it was actually possible he would have a heart attack and die after the beatdown stopped, which would have a nice thematic resolution to Tony's prior heart issues.
