I don't know. The image of Justin Timberlak crying on the phone to his mother in that one episode of Punk'd still sticks with me. I'd like to think he's a sincerely nice guy, and don't think he'd play along with this kind of nonsense.

@avclub-e129a878f7b0e5aa9ac09e0282f64ea6:disqus I COMPLETELY forgot about Paul Schneider's character on that show. Wow… did they actually write him off at some point?

The entire second verse of "The Twist" just rips the guts out of me every time I hear it.

That would be fine, except it's not what he wanted. There are a few [citation needed] videos/interviews out there where he's pretty down on what his (quite successful) career had become. He was like a somewhat more bitter Christopher Reeves — a George Reeves, I guess.

Just a reminder that Jim Varney was a serious (and, by all accounts, fairly good) actor who got hamstrung by an overwhelming character who would. not. die.

Lukewarm is almost exactly a B-. Pinback can't make music that objectively sounds bad, so they're never going to fall into true "C" and below mediocrity. It's like the kid who never does any homework but aces the exams — the majority of the points are there, but it's overall kinda meh.

Twin Shadow has about as much to do with R&B as Santigold does with rap. Though between him and "Someone I Used To Know" I'm really appreciating this vague Peter Gabriel-ish line of influence in male solo pop to match the R&B shift from Michael to Prince.

So, basically this is Drexell's class, right? Dabney Coleman wants an EP credit.

The only reason this exists is to justify a "Cool story, brah!," so I guess you've won.
