speaking as a southerner, (from georgia, no less) I'm always amazed at how bad southern accents are on television and movies. And no matter what you blasted Yankees think, a southern accent does not equal just drawing out syllables and vowels and trying to sound like a constipated blood hound. It's much more subtle.…
