Thanks for putting that NOT correction in there, Loop. I thought for a moment you wuz idjit.

The AV Club is not a place for "eggheads." Those with "educations" may choose their popular culture news and notices elsewhere.

Charlotte Rampling is a pretty good one. There's an actress named Helena Kallianiotes who's just hypnotically weird and fascinating to me. She was in Five Easy Pieces.

Did you know that in Finland, Goofy is known as "Longebnes"?

They should cast the actor I call "A Man With A Baby's Bum." I am pretty sure you all know who I mean. Perfect if unlikely choice for the Judge.

Danny Huston was so terrible in Silver City that I had to turn it off. I agree he was the best thing, or, along with one decapitation effect towards the end, one of the best things in 30 Days of Night.

Or "Klinger's Wedding to Radar."

You all are acting like The Survivors doesn't even exist. Top-flight Williams/Matthau teamup. Featuring Jerry Reed.

I feel certain that most if not all of the blood is computer generated, and I don't know about the rest of you, but cinematic violence of that kind has about as much impact as a Tom & Jerry cartoon. When you watch one of these movies it's at least nice to know there was some fake plasma flying on set, and somebody

Unless Rain wears a headband reading "NINJA," it can't be nearly as good.

Yes, Hooper seems to have

And the midget medium was really Tom Cruise.

I would give a good review to peanut butter toast too, though, or at least an Ebert-style "it accomplishes what it set out to do."

I'm seein' double - four Steves!
Didn't Stephen King secretly write Poltergeist, and didn't Steven Spielberg secretly direct it?

That book is just incredible. The story of the sapient pig had me practically weeping.

A Bemis is also a kind of toilet.
Remember that the next time you take a big bemis.

The Killer Mofo
I wish Fifty Cents would make a slasher movie.

Rituals!
I notice the very spooky Hal Holbrook movie Rituals is at long last on DVD. I heartily and unreservedly recommend it to all viewers.

The question of "what sort of movie is this supposed to be?" really confused me. Camp? Action/adventure? Supernatural thriller? No. It's supposed to be a comedy.

A question for the young Sam Adams:
When he was saying the title of Z, did he say "Zee" or "Zed"?
