I've always liked that "Scrubs" could be a live-action cartoon at times. So, for instance, someone here just mentioned J.D.'s sex gong. Never seen before, never seen since and somehow Turk hears it. The illogic of it (and the "Scrubs" universe) is what makes it funny to me.
In the same way, I thought the joke that a

Boycott talk started too soon. Pop culture has moved on. They should have waited, maybe, 10 days before it opened…?

Sadly, I suspect you're wrong. Isn't Hollywood filled with people who have lived past their means? Isn't that why we watch "Behind the Music?"
Plus I think Ford lives to be cranky. What winds him up at home? Probably not much. A few weeks on set, on the other hand, should keep him in a terrible mood for months!

"This time I got you a part … in HELL!"

@avclub-ffc65e983f9490e53bd8419504a79cf8:disqus Your withering sarcasm has effectively destroyed any reason I had to continue living or thinking I could participate in any pop culture discussion.
Thank God there will be more Star Trek and Star Wars and Indiana Jones and Expendables movies to drown out your reason and

"Meanwhile, at the Hall of Justice…"

You think you're mad…? I had a water leak in my apartment last year. I had to throw away my complete run of that series. It was four longboxes so it was many other books too.
The only "good" thing was that it was an opportunity to realize, yeah, if this is the worst thing that happens to me, yadda, yadda, yadda and

Better. It's about WOLF EYES!

@Markthulhu:disqus You misspelled "awesome."

Starring Ben Grimm

I think Theron is supposed to be more hateful. This is not a tale of redemption.
I also didn't get that the "townies" were mocked and belittled. I think Theron's character wanted to feel that way and we were supposed to see that they were better off and happier people than she was.
I also thought Patton Oswalt was

I've read that Spencer does a lot of theater. This might just be a paycheck so she can continue to do theater work and still do that other annoying stuff: Eat, pay the mortgage, keep the lights on….

No shame in missing Starman. He was an obscure character who appeared in a back-up series. The best thing he had going for him was art by Steve Ditko. (As an aside that's also incredibly obscure, I think Ditko only drew Batman in one comic, the first issue of a Man-Bat solo series - which lasted, IIRC, two issues, but

Yikes. I thought this was a "jukebox" musical. I can't believe anyone remembers that song but me and I had unashamed bad taste in music back then. (It's just as bad now but I've learned to keep my love for REO Speedwagon and Toto to myself.)

Between hating Diablo Cody and loving Patton Oswalt, I suspect these boards will be torn.

Her?

"Just Like Living in Paradise" the David Lee Roth song?

I call all my barbers "Floyd."

Also, if you weren't reading comics at the time, you should know that the redesign reflected Aquaman's appearance in the comics, not the other way around. It was a well-respected run, written by one of my top five favorites, Peter David (others on the list would be Steve Engelhart and John Ostrander) so I think fans

You mean he's the other female member of the Metal Men….?
