The Los Angeles city hall looks nearly identical on quick pan to the Louisiana state capitol building so they probably just left it in….or just missed it because they're dumb.

I'll Be Honest
I've never watched The Outer Limits. I've seen a huge share of The Twilight Zone but for whatever reason I had the idea that the Outer Limits was just a second rate version. This 'A Very Special Episode' says otherwise. Might have to check it out more.

This along with Once Brothers and Four Days in October are completely against the original ethos of 30 for 30.

Revisionist History
Bill France JR. head of NASCAR pushed Richmond out of NASCAR and this essentially whitewashes how shitty they treated him. It's the reason why basically no one has talked about him until very recently (Bill France Jr. died in 2006).

The Klosterman vibe only in that it was an interesting analysis of Rose as a person. Not in writing style or much else. It certainly stands on its own as a great piece.

This Episode Murdered
Giamatti was perfect for the weird hockey/civil war obsessed editor. So much that it wasn't just a distracting 'HOLY SHIT WHAT STAR IS ON 30 ROCK NOW' and I've got to say the laugh out loud moments in this episode were as high as any other great episode of 30 Rock.
