Same faux ruined castle though.
Same faux ruined castle though.
I'll buy it but its a bit much. Why not go to the village in China? Its just easier.
And this immortal lady was still living in a village? Seriously? You'd think she'd have at least become an investment banker or something.
I totally agree. If SHIELD can put together an arresting and consistent visual style it will be unbeatable. Just no dark dinginess like Gotham please.
That makes a lot of sense actually. Its always easier (and more fun, weirdly) to hate on something. Still doesn't explain the overall reductions in comments across AVC but I may be imagining that.
I know right?! But who is Alex?
Okay that makes more sense. I'm not that crazy about City Lotz in general but her fight scenes were good*. However all the lance family drama and her shacking up with Oliver killed her character for me. So annoying. She should've gone back to nanda parbat with Nyssa.
I do agree that the show is vastly improved and this truly was a solid episode of TV. I did find myself agreeing with Oliver's critique of the episode even if I would've given a higher letter grade.
Lol it weird how the two have flipped. Maybe MAoS stole some Sleepy Hollow writers.
No I saw that he was giving it to Bobbi to help with Bakshi's interrogation in the very next scene. He just looked so shifty making off with it. It was a little jarring.
Oh I was under the impression that they went to the familial mansion, not the summer cottage being used for the senatorial shenanigans. The editing was off in those scenes.
Katie Cassidy???! Every time she comes on screen I want to watch something else. I am still only 2/3rds of the way through season 2 but she is the main reason why I hated Arrow and it still isn't one of my favourite shows. Laurel (and Sara Lance) are the worst.
But the screen said Austria! I think… It was utterly bizarre.
ALSO, can someone please tell me what a group of Chinese villagers has been doing in Austria since Wold War II?? I've been to Austria and 1. they don't have villages (the hut like ones) and 2. very few Asian people.
As soon as I saw Lachman, I was like holy shit they cast Skye's mom. She should've been Skye (although I have come around to Chloe Bennett's casting…ish). They'd better have more scenes with her otherwise that is criminal underuse of a wonderful actress. Although this is the show that had Lucy Lawless come in for…
This episode really was amazeballs. Really kept the tension high throughout. So much happened in this episode which is actually really unusual for the show. I *loved* it! I like that the cast is large enough that we can now have a peanut gallery while other members of SHIELD are working.
Yeah, I feel like that was a huge misstep as well. At the well, the tension was ratched so high and I thought (Grant) Ward would just be swinging his brother in to it… They could've had him kill his family next week but I understand them not wanting to drag a storyline out too. A montage of Ward staging the…
I think the joke landed correctly because while Harewood was saying that Eliza had more "followers" than Tubman, he made it a point to undercut that moment with an expression clearly saying that these two things are not the same. He also followed up with a line about Tubman's substantiveness(?)—I didn't catch the…
