I think they adequately show how much Catelyn hates Jon Snow. Apart from that I agree there is a definite trend toward softening some characters.

Katherine, last times' episode happened to this week's ratings. It is pretty clear cause and effect — the previous episode was easily the worst in the entire lot and so the show bled a giant amount of viewers this time around.

Oh wait, I just remembered that they said Cobie Smulders would be coming back to Shield after HIMYM was up. Maybe the article is referring to her?

It definitely lacks follow through on some of the more thought provoking storylines. At least season 1 did…haven't caught up with season 2 yet. Better? Worse? The Same?
