yeah, not interested in reading that far, but now I did. Thanks.
Oh wow, it seems like a weird cast full of my least favorite people except for Kristin Davis who I have a thing for. David Alan Grier overacts, Sara Gilbert has not transitioned to being an adult actress, she still seems kind of emotionally catatonic like

maybe they can get a Schneider look alike, I'm trying to remember who but there's an actor who looks a lot like Schneider who could play Mark if need be.

I thought this show doesn't air until tomorrow night?

I love Ken Levine's blog but he only made fun of Studio 60 in a couple entries. Lance Manion made fun of Studio 60 every week. It was so hillarious.

Seems like a credible and intelligent response on the part of the guy. I haven't seen Newsroom (no way am I gonna shell out more money for HBO, I already pay for Showtime, do y'all pay for both?) but I saw Studio 60 and he handled the criticism horribly, oh god, Studio 60 gives me nightmares

agree highly. Plus celery and trailblazers had the best through-lines of all.

Are you serious? Those two are the most distinct characters and the best on the show andthey could only exist in this style of sketch comedy: SNL, Mr Show, Tim and Eric, or College Humor could not think up something like this. They've been used especially well this season too

I wish you'd give more details

I watched a bunch of episodes recently in order to try to find a grand unified theory over the source of Portlandia's humor, blogged about it here, if anyone's interestedin reading:

Does anyone else not really care that much about each of the characters? I like Toni and Candice, I dislike Lance and Howard, not crazy about Skype, I know who
Peter and Nance are and like them quite a bit, everyone else reminds me of Peter and Nance.

Offhand, I remember my newspaper's film critic saying "the summer's most anticipated adaptation turns out to be as exciting as a game of sudoku"

Aqua Quartz and Cornfield wsound like user names on imdb and not film critic names/publications

Partially related, Piratesof theCaribbean had middling reviews when it came out.

yeah, I don't find them real. I find them outrageous. Not necessarily in a good or bad way but I wouldn't find them on the spectrum of relatable.

yeah but dont they review theshow?

Actually, I'm rereading this and I think I'm likely in the wrong that this is no big deal, but I kind of like Bryan Singer so this news saddens me, and I kind of hope this isn't true.

Is Broad City not being reviewed anymore? I just posted it here, because it was a Wednesday show

I wish we'd just stay out of these people's personal lives. Isn't the age of consent 17 in some states anyway?

who's "our"

CJ McCollum, who the fuck is that guy? Sorry, I have an inexplicable anger at the people who get drafted into the league before I cankeep track of who they are.
I take it he was from the Lehigh team a couple years ago that made the Sweet 16 in the tournament?
