Agreed, cross-country is awesome. I actually am liking long track sprinting better than short-track speedskating. The 500 is epic and you can see so much technique over how they have to slow down around the ovals but maintain a good line, accelerate fast, and maintain speed.

It's a far safer and less injury-prone event, he's historically shown little desire to avoid injuries and he might have won a medal at it. He had nothing to lose but his legacy of being undefeated at the Olympics and now he's medalless …

see, that's also the thing, they're not worms, they're basically livers/pancreases which don't have the power of movement, much less scary

for comparison sake, on voyager, they did a pretty good job with bellana when she was separated from her klingon self and became a little less bitchy for an episode
