You guys should do a newswire about Brittany Murphy's poisoning

Obligatory bragging thread: I briefly taught at Casey Wilson's HS (TC Williams in Alexandria, VA). Once had the opportunity to look up some yearbook photos of her to see what she was like in HS, pretty popular girl.

I don't know if Hollywood is at the point where they cast people based on instagram following size.

Seriously, as someone who is in the freelance reporting business, I thought that was ridiculous. What kind of idiot thinks that an article about ejaculation would fly in
the New York Times? I'm pretty sure not even the health and science section would run something that juvenille Did he confuse The New York Times with

I got the book, read half of it, but then lost it while biking around through a hilly section of Richmond, VA. I'm so pissed off at myself for it. Anyone want to mail me a new book if they're done with it?

yeah, but it keeps recycling stuff

why do we have to establish it's "simulated." Can't you just leave it's veracity to our imagination?

any news/predictions on if they're going to write her out or just show her less frequently? Give her character a death/early parole or just have her not show up as much.

ehh, stick with pop culture commentary.

Ahhh, but see, I still have more chance of getting you to read my blog this way, because you wouldn't read my blog anyway. Without some form of promotion, a blog has like 0.01% chance of reaching any readers. Most of this promotion is underhanded anyway. Even using SEO to deceive someone on a web search to click on

If you look through my comment history, I went for several months not attaching a link to it, then decided I'd like more readers so started posting blogs. Still trying to find a sweet spot between welcome and unwelcome, I could take this advice to suggest a longer comment before inserting my own stuff

re: username "Yes." I think it's the opposite. In ye olden days, before everyone was required to register, one of the explicitly listed regions an AV Club prompt suggested I register was that I could put my own links in. Unregistered users could put a link in but it wouldn't automatically turn into a hyperlink.

Metrics show that I do but the question is whether I deserve to pick up new readers that way (you're seeming to pass judgement on the practice) and I'm interested in having that discussion

I'm pro-blog-plugging and unapologetic about it but I'm sorry you don't feel that way.

I think the main culprit was the run time, which someone else established was less than 20 minutes

Artemis was there?
Actually Cricket came out relatively on top, don't you think? He likely got a few nibbles of food before the food fight and didn't lose an eye. I was so worried when the McPoyle's through a hatchet that it would hit him in the eye. Instead it got him in the arm, Cricket will bounce back from that,

I agree that the guest star list could have been different, but I LOVE Gail the Snail. Also, I now have beef with Dennis Perkins for dissing Thunder Gun Express. I expect a Thanksgiving dinner invite, sir.

I ranked It's Always Sunny #1 on my top 10 that year on my blog, that season was amazing, I agree:

fnatastic mr. fox I don't remember earning THAT high praise

I agree. I actually have no idea why they couldn't propose a bit and then take two weeks to do it for the next host. I imagine because the host is only booked for one week's time and traditionally the host gets veto power over bad ideas
