I agree. and it's not just the buddy cop element that made it great, it's an awesome concept for a film

Wait, if Peter and Bobby only directed what at most was 25% of the screentime of the film, it seems crazy to get a directorial credit for that
Your 4th paragraph had the most intriguing questions. I'm pretty sure the Lucy Liu-Bender relationship didn't list as he has been involved with a lot of other people since then.
I had that problem with the first two episodes of the season: Too 3rd Act heavy
I think it's more like If Wishes Were Horses which I think is DS9. I like the idea from Zach that they could have drawn it from Bender's past. This was the first episode this season that I really liked. If Futurama's in the mold of the Twilight Zone, with its sciencey concepts, than the best episodes are those that…
Too late to review this guys, because you guys took so long, I discovered Slate and Paste Magazine and now go to your competition
I wasn't making an educated comparison and never explicitly stated that Simpsons is worse than Futurama. I just know I haven't bothered to watch Simpsons in 10 years. I could watch a few episodes of the Simpsons to state with authority if Futurama's better, but I'm not THAT interested. All I'm saying is that if…
I'm just amazed at the amount of consensus on Late Philip J Fry, I didn't even like that one that much. Oh yes, Clockwork Orange was amazing. I think the 2012 run was pretty weak but the season that stretched out from 2010 to 2011 was amazing and the series' best work. I'm not sure where it stands on the…
Linkedin was my favorite single line of dialogue from that episode.
Prisoner of Benda is great! The first season back had a lot of really good ones and two of their biggest duds (the Robosexual one and the Kiler App)
Lethal Inspection's my favorite, Da Vinci Code and All the President's Heads (if you're a history buff), Overclockwise is pretty ambitious, Tip of the Zoidberg goes pretty heavily into the professor's backstory. Love Silence of the Clamps. From the original run, I think most of them are classics that I've watched…
well of course he wouldn't tose guys are 1000 years into his future
You went to UMW? That's awesome. I went there for the first two years of my college education and majored in geography. I have a lot of loyalty to the place. Great school!
Reminds me of how Ron Swanson is the manager at my supermarket:

you have a weird sense of humor
I agree the actual zoo visuals were cool. In my opinion, Futurama has the best visuals of any cartoon I've ever seen
I don't understand why Simpsons (which I haven't watched in over 10 years) gets to stay on the air why Futurama keeps having to fight for its life. I think the latter is showing more life these days and I think Simpsons gets to stay on just because of legacy. I'd happily take another 100 episodes of Futurama.
I like Canada's Little Mosque on the Prairie, Norway's Lillyhammer (which is already on Netflix), BBC's Hotel Babylon, Australia's The Chasers War on Everything and Thank God You're Here
Here's my list. I would say that the show's writing staff never succeeded in developing a cohesive world or group of characters, but at best, they were able to write a good storyline, so I agree that there were some gems there. I imagine a lot of people will disagree with me. I didn't grow up watching TNG so I had…
@avclub-f9dc5c1b905401733b9aaf49c03c071d:disqus Agreed, I don't think I've watched more than 2 episode of Enterprise in my life and only watched them half-heartedly. Voyager completely burnt me out
Wasn't Andy Dick the doctor in an episode too? Star Trek Voyager had Virginia Madsen, Jason Alexander, Lori Petty from a League of their Own, the Rock, and a few other high profile people as guest stars whereas DS9 could only get the woman from the Larry Sanders Show and Iggy Pop.
