That was my favorite moment of the episode. I looooved that Peter didn't even get that Meg was making fun of him until 4/5 of the way in.

I'm just surprised how few people get the show's treatment of Meg (not even the reviewer). They didn't retcom it, they lampshaded it, in about as brilliant a way as a group of writers who've underserved the Meg character for the first couple years possibly could. Meg's abuse parodies what happens on most live sitcoms…
and you guys don't take TV seriously?
If you're watching the show because you like to see animation, then in that sense the Brian subplot was a winner.
you know you don't HAVE to compare what you're watching to other films. you can just review a film on it's own merit. besides, not all of us have seen Team America. it wasn't one of the top grossing films of its year
good article
I don't know, I feel the opposite. At some point the Office did decline and there have been a couple times I've been frustrated it, but I've come to respect it's overall scheme and it's potential to surprise me with extremely good stretches.
Thinking to myself a little:
Interesting.
No, I ha ve a different take on Darryl and I think it reflects the assumptions of class of the viewer how you view that scene.
I don't condemn or think less of a working class man based on whether he knows how to do a resume.
why would it be the parents and not the kids?
I wonder if there's a Fortune 500 company that has unorganized chaos (or whatever it was they said) as it's workplace culture, i would love to work for that place
I thought it was wierd that the IRS agent thinks she's got a case against Dee because her license plate says scamming. That certainly was a headscratcher
My question: How great of an actress is that lady? She totally owned the comedy in this ep. Emmy for her!
Last week, the original reviewer was asking what makes a good review in response to a heckler, and I answered a couple days after the comments died, so let me add my 2 cents now:
Every person has a reaction on an episode of TV after they watch it. Critics and non-critics aren't seperated by that respect. The critic…
Dennis has been revamped for the better. He used to just be a jerk, now he rapes and scours for barely legal girls without even being aware that there's much wrong with it. Like Charlie and Mac, he's less malicious and more off-center these days
Right on, intangible fancy.
great points in all. I disagreed with teh assessment of Andy by the posters and the review but couldn't articulate it as well as you did
My take: Every person has a reaction on an episode of TV after they watch it. Critics and regular people aren't seperated by that respect. The critic just is able to better articulate their reaction. I don't feel like, at least, with this review, you're even reacting to the TV episode just as a TV watcher. If you were…
I differ w/you and McNutt in that Andy is an imitation of Michael. I think the imitation of Michael and (possibly a mistake of season 8) is Robert California. Andy hits different notes than Micahel Scott and it's just doing a disservice to gloss over those finer differences. Andy's more outwardly vulnerable, he's…
They should have a meetup.com group for A- blood types
