That DS9 finale is fantastic. I loved that the writer's reasoning was, we brough a Galaxy class ship to show that if Picard had come across that wormhole he'd be dead too. That's a great way to set up your villain!

It always cracked me up that Riker's knee up position probably got him a broken neck when the ship started spinning around.
Captain Frasier here!
If any week is the perfect week for duplicate comments it's definetly next week. Looking forward to seeing 'Cause and Effect' again.
I think we both know what memory he was being forced to remember. Sweet Riker on Riker action! "Captain, were exploring the unknown."
I think Chuck's been on a roll the last couple of weeks too. I really enjoyed the action movie cliche of someone having to run from an explosion behind them and gets caught up in the blast, except this time it was an adorable teacup pig in a cape. It just cracked my shit up. And I can relate with Chuck not wanting to…
Whenever I see Andy now I just want to yell out "Andeee!" like April's ex did. Of course entering a room with a Spanish guitar riff doesn't hurt.
The tea was hard to drink but he downed it like he wanted to avoid talking.
Maybe it was cold where they filmed and Stewart just wanted to keep rocking the jacket.
So this week in Star Trek episodes I watched not only did Picard get a sweet jacket but Sisko grew a goatee. So it was a pretty good week. Just a few more episodes until Sisko shaves his head and that's when you know it's on!
I pointed out Ashley Judd to my friend watching with me and we looked her up in the Star Trek wiki and read up on her character and her rules one of her rules from a non-canon source was surprisingly reflective of my state of mind when I watched "Darmok" this week. "It's not over until it's over, and sometimes not…
I know it's right in the review, but Stewart is also so great in "Darmok" in expressing the connection he has just made with his counterpart. His scenes in this are just uniformly excellent.
I think it's so the Enterprise doesn't take an immediate aggressive act after Picard is kidnapped and give time for the story to unfold. Damn writer's convinces are worse then wizards.
That's exactly what I said once I defeated those giant glasses. When I beat Meyer Wolfsheim I added a "That'll teach you to throw the World Series!" Who knew all that English education would come in handy during game time.
Though I was a little concerned with how Tasha knew which ship had the android captain. Do they advertise that sort of thing? Are Romulan sensors that much better? Do you think she used valuable spy resources to go out of her way to embarass that mother fucker?
I once had Snickers Pancakes at a famous breakfast place in Vegas. You're thinking, "Snickers and Pancakes? Two great tastes that go great together. What could go wrong?" Let me tell you what can go wrong. The two great tastes, just don't go together. There isn't a blending at all. All you taste is some pancake, some…
This girl once thought I was hilarious when I saw Cam Gigandet on TV in that 'awesome' flick Fighting and said "Oh shit! Is Volchuk going to fight in Fighting?" Maybe it was a nervous laugh hoping I wouldn't reveal where we both knew the actor from. But it was a stalemate. How could I reveal she watched the OC without…
I never saw Carrie 2 but I heard about an amazing screening of it when I was a projectionist. Turns out a theater down the street was training and their projectionist switched reels 4 and 5 out of 6. So things are going along, pool party about to start…blood everywhere! They figured it would go back and explain what…
Oh man, time for some catharsis. In high school there was a real lanky kid who hunched a bit so we used to call him 'Scoli', short for Scoliosis. Then we became good friends with him and he was part of the group! So now I don't feel any shame. Well less shame at least.
I'm glad someone brought up the Serenity pre-screenings. Everyone there was so obviously a fan who had fought hard for one more adventure with their favorite crew and yet were eating it up. It was a well deserved victory lap I remember thinking before the screening "This is Joss Whedon, you don't get a victory lap,…
The big theater helped. I can't imagine "Don't" having played as well without the crowd.
