I graduated December of 2001 and was aware of this show's existance but the enormity of my final semester coupled with…you know made it so I didn't start any new shows that year. I caught up with it when it was released on DVD and thought it touched on some universal things that I probably missed in my experience

Oh yeah! I knew there was a reason I liked Entourage when it started. Monica Keena certainly did a lot to form that opinion before she left and the plots repeated ad nauseum.

I'm not going to lie. I get the same amount of joy as an adult then I did as a kid when I get LEGOs under the tree. And you always know you're getting them after a quick present shake.

I'm okay with doing laundry over and over since I can just watch movies/play games/read while waiting for it to be finished. Deal?

Time May Change Me
The thing I'd love most is just an abundance of time to digest all the media I already have lining up my shelves. Maybe get out of my Netflix disc morass instead of just sticking to Instant. Maybe even finish up some of my own creative media projects. Oh well. There's always retirement. Just 30 to

Civ V is at the very top of my list. I hope my brother picked up the hint. Especially since it was at the top of my list.

I agree this was sacrilege but I'm sure they just got lawyered into combining the titles of the two franchises so they didn't have to pay some sort of licensing fee.

I think that scene in Batman Forever is hilarious. First of all, no one pats down the people coming into court for some acid? Secondly Batman emerges from like behind a potted plant running in super slow mo to try and stop some acid from being thrown. The poor bailiffs that day must have gotten a stern talking to. "So

I'm right there with you on that. What happens to Picard's family and the fact Picard can choose to go to any time he wants when leavinng the Nexus and chooses to go back to that time he was stuck under a rock makes Generations a miss for me. Why not drop a quick communique to France and arrest Malcolm McDowell for, I

Sent my email in. I haven't sent one to a network since before Conan left the Tonight show. Terriers is worth it.

Never has the Gerbil's facts been more accurate.

I remember watching Enemy at the Gates for the first time and realizing how much it sounded like Wrath of Khan. I kept wondering when Ricardo Montalban would show up.

Agreed about that Voyager marathon, were you in trouble or something? DS9 is the much better spin off of a spin off.

But it does come into play, 14 year old spoiler alert, when Picard is able to still vaguely hear the Borg in First Contact. Letting him know where the cube was vulnerable and realizing that drones had transported to the Enterprise. But you're right that's more of a Romulan ploy. The Queen wanted Picard to willingly

Probably some sort of dermal regenerator.

I always felt like Insurrection was just a big episode for the theaters. In fact it's actually an episode I've saw on TNG. Just Picard got a girlfriend instead of Worf hanging out with his brother. Like it was like the breather of Star Trek IV after all the intensity of Khan. Of course then we get a movie that makes

Are you taking your Grandma to Applebees?

When you said that, with your sweet avatar, I had this memory of the commercial for this episode. They say "They're setting course for Sector 001." And there's Riker going "Earth" giving him plenty of reverb and added gravitas. I hadn't thought about that commercial since it aired and it brought a little chuckle but

This is an interesting topic because I just watched a romantic comedy where in the special features it shows the original ending where the protagonist ends up with a completely different girl. The AV Club's review of the film was that the characters were ciphers and there are underlying structural problems and seeing

I also would have accepted Jack Dalton from MacGyver. Because how awesome is MacGyver? 80's awesome.
