I know we've discussed the irony of Sayid and Ben's decisions creating the very Ben they wanted to prevent. But if you think about how far those decisions go back it becomes even more fascinating.

Well Daniel has always been working on the pseudo-sciences. Shooting radiation at mice to get them to time travel. He probably believes in things like precognition, mind-reading, spectral phantasm, you know the basics.
I still think he must remember Juliet. She looks just like her, according to Goodwin's wife. I always thought Juliet looked like his mom, but now Juliet looks like Juliet. And that's why Ben has to have her.
I got creeped out when that stock boy said "What son?" In my mind I was like "He wasn't real the whole time!"
I always felt like R2 knew everything that was going on and was just talking trash to C-3P0 the whole trilogy. I was glad he didn't get his memory erased.
Ben did say he lied about living on the island his whole life.
As long as it wasn't the other thing from the background of Teen Wolf…
That squeaky noise was Marshall shrieking "Lily! No!" I only know because I had to rewind it to watch it again. Jason Segel never fails to impress.
Did anyone else think she was going to rewind the tape and find out this wasn't the first time he's done this? And it wasn't the first time she's ridden that bike.
Hey…I lived in Dearborn for the first 5 years of my life.
Quick Theory
I appreciated Ben telling us he met Richard 4 years ago. Helped me work on the time line. It's 1977, everyone arrived in 74, and Ben meets Richard a year earlier in 73. From the looks of Ben's flashback in The Man Behind the Curtain, to 1973, the Hostiles just attacked with no warning, enough so they the…
Enjoyed the MacCutcheon reference. I also got the impression that Sayid didn't want to be a killer anymore. He was forced into being a torturer during the Iraq War and ran away from the camp not wanting to be that person anymore when he accidentally tortured Sawyer. He became a killer for Ben because he thought he was…
I was under the impression that Daniel said that Desmond could break the rules of time travel. He told Sawyer since he hadn't met Desmond he couldn't, but when Daniel realized they were in trouble he was able to get a message to 'present' Desmond through the past. Desmond doesn't follow the rules and Daniel knows it.
I was very worried for Sayid all throughout this episode. The fact it was his flashback and he had made a choice to absolve his sins and change the nature of his character. And we all know how it turns out when you solve your problems in Lost…you don't make it into any more 'Next Week on Lost's. Believing that…
I know it's mentioned up top but when that door opened on it's own I swore I saw smoke rolling in.
I love that the dude just can't crash any flying vehicle. He's the opposite of Launchpad McQuack. And please forgive my reference. Its late and I've been responding to posts in bed from my phone.
I wonder if Sun being in the present means she has something to do there. For instance, since Daniel is not here, 'Not anymore', perhaps he interacted with the energy source in the Orchid. Sun goes there and lets him back into her time.
Me and a friend of mine were worried about the exact same thing. We think Segel and Rudd are hilarious but didn't know anything about the writer, and his credits weren't exactly inspiring. I had gotten a free screening pass and saw this movie about a month ago. If you've enjoyed any of their previous work you've got…
I'm really enjoying some of the ideas being thrown out. Having do a Windows re-install to upgrade yourself or even body-surfing sound like they could be some intriguing concepts this show could follow up on. Especially the actives meeting their own personality.
@Foxtrot I wonder if the only reason the implants work is because they're being applied to a blank slate. Each Active's brain is receiving an entire lifetime of memories so they can perform their necessary skills. If their own memories were there it could interfere with what is implanted. That could be what happened…
