Looking for Par'mach wasn't so bad. It was silly fluff but it didn't suck as bad as Let He Who is Without Sin, which itself is terrible but at least was trying for something.

Great acting, deep themes, lots of humor, memorable characters and dialogue.
Binge-watch, it's quite binge-able. Especially when you go from the "pretty good" of Season 1 to the "undeniably great" of Season 2. You owe it to yourself.
NO. NO IT WAS NOT. IT WAS A BLATANT TWIST OF THE WOUND.
True dat. There was no joy at his passing for me, even though I knew he had to go.
I still haven't gotten into Treme or watched any of it past the first episode. It seemed too much like "work".
My ardour has cooled slightly from when I ranked it as #2 on my list (behind The Wire), and I had not yet seen Mad Men OR Breaking Bad. Now, it's still in the top ten. I think there may not be any middle ground with BSG; you either get it or you don't.
Pete is an irredeemable grimy little pimp, but he proved himself to me when he proved himself to Megan's dad. The mofo is good at what he does, gotta give him that.
Peggy counting money, or GTFO…
you can't…
I'm only just watching the episode, and having been spoiled for it, I can't wait for it to come. I just wish Charlie had bitten it with him.
Series SPOILER in the next reply, be careful
When he decided to manufacture and sell meth.
I would more consider that "Respect for Dutch's skills" than "Respect for Dutch", but I see your point.
Does Vic really have more respect for Dutch than vice versa? I am not too convinced of that, what's your evidence? Spoilers are ok for me.
Maybe, but I thought that was pretty egotistical of him. Django WAS the lead, Waltz was a glorified supporting character and the movie would not have worked with less of Waltz. Dumb move by Smith.
Let us never forget AVClubbers, that Charlie from Revolution must be murderated.
that was the only moment in ASOS that made me say "HOLY SHIT!" Even the RW, I was just reading it sadly more than being taken aback, but…that whole disclosure and resolution by LF and Lysa was totally awesome.
it has a lurid appeal, and the "this is the most important thing EVER" plus the "leave everything on the table" approach does have its appeal. Not that I would ever defend this show TOO much, I just understand its appeal,
Pam. Kicks. So. Much. Ass.
