You make a valid point. That said, I sincerely hope that these young girls quickly move past Swift's bubblegum schlock and go on to discover women making really cool music such as Victoria Legrand (Beach House), the Dum Dum Girls, Ruth Radelet (Chromatics), EMA, Joanna Newsom, etc.

That episode with Jeff Garlin, Pete Holmes, and TJ Miller is still my favorite. I do often hunger for the games, but that episode caused tears to stream down my face because I was laughing so hard. They essentially said "fuck Doug's games!" and just played their own insane version of 1-upmanship. Holmes really got me

I actually still really like what dubstep was when it started out in London. Burial's works are still among my favorite go-to albums. Their dark, swirling, mercury-tainted atmosphere is still utterly haunting but strangely intoxicating.

I loved Whites and thought he was great on it. Very sad that there won't be any more of them.

I prefer Dragonball Z in 4:3, but I'm kind of old school that way

I actually did feel nauseous during a scene in the second Transformers film where Shia Lebouf and Megan Fox embrace in the middle of the street and make out. The camera spun around them at a pretty good clip for what felt like a whole minute. The disconnect of the camera motion on the screen and the fact that my butt

Conan really was great. It's hard to understate just how funny he can be. When he described that rejected sketch he wrote for SNL about the college professor getting scared by the skeleton, I was nearly in tears (partially because his Phil Hartman impression was hilarious and you know Hartman would have killed it in

I was hoping for a will.i.am. on CNN type of thing
