Killing Yourself To Live is simultaneously the most 'Klosterman writing about being Klosterman' thing he's done, and also one of the best.
It helps that it's less in the form of a series of essays and wild theories.

Yeah, plus Constantine had a really, really solid supporting cast.

Look I have no issue with product placement in films as long as it's integrated into the movie organically and doesn't feel like a paid ad.
I don't think MOS did, though it came damn close.

I'm terrified of water that doesn't have a drain I can pull.

Yes, and in that case it was an incident that the news media either deliberately ignored or was told not to report.

I comment with Cookie Monster. I know  Cookie Monster. Cookie Monster is a friend of mine. You sir are no Cookie Monster. You're a piece of felt with ping pong balls for eyes.

Clooney was an awful Batman, his Bruce was much better.

It is for kids, or at least was. The way comics are now, it seems they've completely given up on kids reading them anymore, and instead play to the 30 something fans who still do.

Let's be frank.
Snowden's seeking asylum in countries that are known to be hostile, or at least cold, to the US regarding diplomatic relations, because he knows damn well it'd be harder to extradite him and they'd likely say no to stick two middle fingers up at Washington.

Hey that plane thing was because they heard there was a stash of cocaine in the armrests.

Yeah I don't buy the naive thing for Snowden, maybe for Manning who seems to have a variety of issues (most that should have disqualified him from intel work to begin with).

I also finished the UK Life On Mars I'm not sure if I really like the ending I saw or not, but it's definitely interesting and gutsy to go that way.Question; now I saw Life On Mars, should I bother going on and watching Ashes To Ashes? Or is that a tacked on sequel?

Yeah? I don't think he's a bad person probably, just that kind of unbelievable egotism irks me by default.
And I absolutely by the director had an idea of what film he wanted to make, and edited everything to make it seem this bitter rivalry.

From what I'm gathering this is a Quebec type situation where they'll huff and puff and never actually do it.
Besides aren't the independence party the parliament there? Actually getting independence would kill their reason for being right?

NICE WORK!

The biggest issue with the movie I found is it's pretty damn obvious the mole is one of two people by the halfway mark, and it's all due to running time.
There's two suspect characters given any kind of indepth portrayal, and film conventions point out that you don't do that otherwise.

Fuck yeah. In this kind of heat even watching sports makes me tired watching other people exert themselves.

If (when) Scotland completely breaks away from the union does that effect things and still no Brit goes back to having won it in forever?

Hey, hey, hey it's 'The Scottish Play', now something bad will happen to someone in this thread.

Yeah I never get people who think Evil Dead I is funny, it's got moments of dark humor (more than most films of it's genre then) but it's charm is how low budget it is.
