I'm so over all the gymnastics that this crop of contestants feels they have to do for every lip sync. The wig yanking, the kicks, the stupid ass drop splits… It's played out. Thing is, Lucien is always shocked that a bunch of drag queens who generally lip sync as a career can't sing. And did he really write that song? It was kinda blah.

You could be right - I'll have to Netflix those reading episodes of 2 and 3 to be sure. There's always one or two queens who just aren't up to it, but I don't know. Season 2 for me had the best reading. But I hold that season as sort of the gold standard for some reason.
