In the story didn't he say that Dickie was trying to stomp on him when he got up from the HBP? In that case, good on him.

No more half-measures
Run!
Does it have the same ballistic properties as ice?
Who would win in a tweet off, Franco or God?
Trick question, Franco is God.
This thread is fucking distracting and someone up there's got dead ears mate.
Or maybe it was "Half Measures." I think that was the Breaking Bad episode with the ownage… "Run!"
Keep in mind that the Justified finale aired within days of the "Full Measures" episode of Breaking Bad. There was ownage galore that week.
The back half of the Yesayer album keeps its off my top ten. But the first 5 or 6 tracks are really deserving of some praise.
IRON EAGLE
And to think, it only gets better from there. The "pretty girls from the smallest towns…" lyric is just excellent.
I can buy Birthday Boy as the Song of the Year. It's terrific and goes to show that DBT relies on Cooley's consistency as much as Hood's proficiency.
I am right there with you Seth. I have listened to the song 4 times now and Minaj's verse went from insane in a good way to grating really fast. The only aspects of that song that I like are Kanye's verse (most of it anyway) and Justing Vernon at the end (even though it probably doesn't belong in that song).
I gave up on this show about 4 episodes into Season 1 and have watched maybe a couple more from this Season but I just don't find it funny. Can someone tell me when you think it started to hit its stride? Or have you liked every episode from the beginning?
Sha na na na na na na na na na knees, knees.
May you endure every indignity knowing all the while life will go on.
This is the first thing that I have ever heard from Nicki that I didn't hate. Although by the third time I have heard this song, I am getting less and less out of her verse. I guess I am in the minority here.
Mr Big - To Be With You
For me it was King of Carrot Flowers part I which hooked me. I am grateful for that as I would not have stuck around through the beginning of part II in order to experience the fascinatingly crazy second half of that song.
Speaking of hooked before the words even kicked in, the first Built to Spill track I ever heard was "Goin Against Your Mind." It took me all of fifteen seconds of the introduction to realize that I was going to explore everything they had done.
Mine too. I think they just wanted to conceal the sneak preview for Rubicon. But I was tremendously surprised that it ended at the gunshot (it was the logical place for it to end, but I thought I would get to see another half hour of consequences).
