That comparison was a bit of a struggle.

I L O V E Latrice, and I've been in her corner since the beginning.  But she did not bring it tonight.  If we are sending people home based on the individual night's challenge, then sadly, she deserved to go.

If Phi wins, I may have to seriously consider whether or not I watch the next season.

I agree with most of your points.  I love, "I Love Lucy", but after reading some of the comments I wonder if that love is from the feeling of nostalgia.  I grew up watching reruns of the show after school or sometimes during the day if I was staying home from school for being sick.

Slapstick isn't dead.  Will and Grace, Parks and Rec, Community, Better Off Ted, Arrested Development (just to name a few) all incorporate slapstick effectively into their shows.

Okay - I just rewatched the 1st episode of seasons 1-3, and you are right, the last queen who enters is the winner.

Off topic slightly.  I'm kind of over DU.  The premise is worn thin, IMO.  It would be great if every week had a particular theme that didn't necessarily be restricted to women.

Ya, I personally would be happy with any of those three winning.  They all excel in their own style of drag and any one of them would deserve the prize.

Agree.  The final three episode is drama free and kind of a love fest, with the exception of Rebeca Glasscock and her "never rush a queen" nonsense.

I know you've said you think the contest is fixed, with Ru and the producers preselecting the winner, but could you please explain your entire theory?  Do you mean they pick the winner even before the first challenge?

hah!  Just typed exactly the same thing above.  Guess I wasn't the only one.

You knew she was going home as soon as she started spazzing out to "Natural Woman"  Can you say fucking clueless?  Talk about not understanding what the song is about.

It be cooler if the regular judges had one shared Ru-veto each season, instead of bringing someone back.

I don't get the appeal of Kenya.  Her boy look and her girl look aren't that different (I kind of suspect Kenya is a trans woman - when she came through the door, I was like 'why did she turn up in drag'), and because of her size, her proportions are too off to be pretty.  Not to mention, she's kinda fucking weird.

Her tours sell out stadiums worldwide - in 2009 she set the record for the highest grossing solo tour ever, not exactly years ago.  I'd say she earned a lifetime of people "praising the throne" her for her accomplishments, she's had a damn lot of them.

Phi getting the boot because of Willam being back would be sweet, sweet, justice.

Same.  As they were flashing them up on screen, I was going "No, no, no, no, no.  Willam is the only one I have any interest in seeing back.

Like I said above, Michelle's comment about wanting to see the "real Chad" annoyed me. Bitch if you want to see the "real Chad" go hang out with Chad as a boy. Chad's style of drag is character drag, he assumes a character and hat off to him, he commits to it.

Phi was excruciating to watch.  I had to mute a couple of time because it was so cringe worthy.  And yes, of coarse they are keeping her on for her tired drama - they other Queens get along with each other and seem to really have affection for one another - pretty boring I guess for a reality show.  I fucking hate how

I love Madonna, mostly out of loyalty.  She's been turning the shit out for close to 30 years.  "Lucky Star" came out when I was 13 - so she was pretty much everywhere during my teens.  I'm generally not a huge pop music fan, but as far as that genre, she is my favorite.
