As were several other fairy folk. Ever read his Green Lantern Bible?

Loved Dream Girl just flat out telling Dr. Destiny how he was going to die.

Easily the best thing Simone has done in my book. I still have a lifetime worth of bitter hatred over DC cancelling it and minimizing Bane's master plan… although the reason it went bad was nice.

For Deimos, that line is just barely average on the creepy scale. Desaad found that guy off-putting.

Me too! Made the episode for me.

She was genuinely off-putting and creepy this episode… she justified her presence here to me.

Credit where credit is due here too. Hawkman took Shayera not jumping right into a relationship and, in fact, leaning toward John pretty well too. My favorite part of the final two-parter is him suiting.up and heading out for war despite his original motivation being shot to heck.

I still feel disappointed that we didn't sub out Batman for Green Arrow this episode, to reignite the old rivalry. No Hawkman/Green Arrow sniping is the biggest missed opportunity of this season.

Grodd has totally and utterly possessed a man before, so that's plausible.

Me too. I genuinely liked him at the end of last season, and have been disappointed that he's been largely sidelined.

He called her by name. Sounded to me like Helga, which, honestly, is easily the strangest choice I could have imagined.

I LIKED the scene as it was for this very reason. As for Tripp, I figure his backstory can't be delved into until after Agent Carter, so that's the holdup.

MacLachlan has become my favorite part of the show. That flighty amusing attitude combined with murderous rage… great stuff.

I thought that Whitehall's answer was "everything she had" which is a couple of orders of magnitude creepier.

I was actually genuinely disappointed that his wife's name wasn't Annie.

Still suspecting Wells is Abra Kadabra. Based on his track record though, I suspect Girder is going to have an unfortunate accident while in custody…

Yeah, that cost us Hugo Strange in the Cadmus arc, Scarecrow and the Riddler in the Legion of Doom, and a final planned Joker appearance.

Abra Kadabra here.

When we first watched this episode, we missed the entire back half of it after my brother sarcastically asked if Blackhawk Island had sharks with laser beams a second before they appeared and the resultant laughter nearly killed us all. Good times!

Chucky, horrifically, was based on an actual case involving a doll that was apparently possessed by voodoo spirits. I am in no way joking.
