I hate to be that guy, but I think Jamiroquai would have fit in well with this section. I alway thought there was a great blend of improvisation and perfectionism on the studio albums. I saw them the other day on the great program "Live From Abbey Road" and I was surprised to find that almost all the songs

What is with all this mayer-hate?
I always thought John Mayer sucked when he first came out, but then I happened to catch him live. His guitar playing is very Stevie Ray Vaughn and everything BUT his sappy love songs is quite good. I recommend the John Mayer Trio album to anyone who dislikes his overproduced studio
