But this is one movie whose trailer definitely spoiled the big twist, for no particular reason.

Soccer stadium scene is pure adrenaline rush.

I thought the twists actually did resolve plenty and were fully internally consistent, and this is probably the most satisfying of any twisty ending-style movies I've seen. It's got plenty of atmosphere, but it doesn't rely solely on that like some other J and K horror.

I tend to agree with Dwigt, and further…it's a horror movie, and what's more horrific than an actual capital-G God who is a monster? It gives us the creepy, bloodthirsty Old Testament God, active in modern times. It's meant to be disturbing, not affirming.
