Absurd comment. People generally come here because they enjoy engaging with fellow readers — and they turn to the critical review as a "jumping off point" to get the discussion going.

I was actually with Sonia for a second when it comes to the Guilty Remnant. In an effort to be nuanced and ambiguous with its characterization, the show is ultimately removing any ability to connect with that group in a positive OR negative way.

— Confused about the white shirt deal. The clear implication was that the scared dry cleaner was just grabbing random shirts to get the drunk dude to go away, but Kevin couldn't have possibly thought that. He took the shirts. He was willing to pay for them. And he hung them in his closet rather than in a trash can.

Well, if it helps, there's a time jump midway through next week's episode.

Saw next week's episode. It's very weird. Things to expect:

I believe they said they saw skin under her fingernails.

What kind of creepy freaking town is this? There is a manifest of every student who ever had a given locker at the high school. And now we find out that the kids fully expect the local newspaper to report on WHY every single family movies into and out of Chester's Mill?

I'm a big fan of his, but I actually find that to be a fairly useless review. The thesis approach to reviews over there is too suffocating.

I understand what he was doing with the bull's eye and shoes - I don't understand how that made the hospital and cop forget that this guy was chased out for seemingly assaulting a pregnant girl.

Probably going to embarrass myself here, but where/when did Christine explain to the hospital staff and police that Tommy was NOT the guy that assaulted her. I mean, surely we're not supposed to believe that him putting the bull's eye on his FOREHEAD convinced everyone that he was a different guy?

**SPOILER***

Fair enough on his initial contribution.

Sundance (and this show) is in HD on Time Warner…

Maybe I read it wrong, but I also interpreted it as some guilt on her part as well. Over the past few episodes, I've felt that she is wrestling with two different thoughts:

Frankly, I can do without this show being reduced to "My review of Rectify coming up after Peanut gives birth to her 11 pound baby."

The jump-cut from Faxon's character awkwardly massaging the wax technician's arm (sort of a play on a Curb storyline) to them on a date was jarring. I was certain her facial reaction was one of disgust/harassment.

— Weird that literally every kid in the hallway at Barry's school looked more like a younger version of Barry than the kid playing him. Did he dye his skin or something when he got older?

Still not as bad as "We're hopeful someone will come and light the way."

Yeah, you're right. The area surrounding the dome was turned into a wasteland of sorts.

I don't think it's in that territory right now, but I actually thought it was there last year.
