Abigail Spencer continues to be the overt MVP, but Adelaide Clemens is absolutely the unsung hero. I noticed a little bit of issue with her accent this week, but damn is she perfect at conveying emotion through the lens of that character. It's truly a remarkable performance. (Also - based on Adelaide Clemens AND

This is a much more articulate version of what I said below regarding the father's claim that the heir should have been Bassam all along.

This isn't actually tough. Breaking Bad - one of the best television episodes of all time.

What was the conflicted area called? They weren't enunciating clearly - it just kept sound like they were saying "Maaa."

Who's the "hot lady?" I don't mean that in a "none of these women are attractive" sense but in a "I don't know who looked like she'd have an affair with Barry" sense.

— Man, that Justin Kirk character was terrible.

But why not reveal that BEFORE the showdown so that we can get optimal satisfaction out of Jack's vengeance?

— "And apparently they are lovers, too, which I don’t think had come up before."

FX has had a ton of consistently good programming, but it's never had anything AS good as BB and Mad Men, and it has launched plenty of stuff that, while perhaps not as schlocky as TWD, is definitely not as effective (that awful series about the boxer, much of Nip/Tuck, this past season's AHS, etc)

Very confused by Todd's line about True Detective having a disappointing finale.

Great cold open, but it still has nothing on "but that's nothing compared to the way Michael looks at me," "fax, to himself, from the future" (which put the show on the map via the iPhone promotion), or "the IT guy and I did…NOT…get off to a good start."

I've only seen the first of the two episodes, but I need to stress how unbelievably hilarious that art gallery scene was. Another example one can use when dealing with people who claim Louie isn't funny.

The timing was believable, but the rapid transition to darkness seemed less so. I guess there was technically enough time between the shots of Jordan, but i don't know, it seemed weird.

A+ if not for Kim Raver's unbelievably bad acting when she learned of her father's inevitable fate. That was like Andrew Lincoln bad.

Easily the worst episode to date. It actually dragged, which is never something I thought I'd say about this.

Most of the people here.

No one who would write that post is at the forefront of anything.

That is not remotely consistent with Louie's creative approach.

How was The Model not funny? Or anything Grodin has done? Or the poker conversation in the first episode? Or the family therapist session last week? Or Todd Barry's Seinfeldian story?

Well, not rape. But, crime.
