Mrs. Featherbottom makes perfect sense to me for Tobias' character.  He's so wrapped up in his own fantasy that of course he thinks Mrs. Doubtfire was a perfect idea and he's so convinced his acting talent is where it needs to be to pull it off.

That's why I prefer timed events (swimming, track and field) to scored events (gymnastics).  Judging is so subjective it takes away from my amazement at what the gymnasts can do.  Seriously, that vault was fucking incredible.
