Battlefield Earth.  John Travolta hits his head on a slanted ceiling.

I geeked out at that in the theater, showing something that they'd be able to do but wouldn't have been able to pull off with original trilogy special effects.

The chariot battle in the Colosseum was awesome, archer broads being cut in half, automatic crossbows, Maximus' badass helmet.  I'll defend that movie to my grave.

I unabashedly love Signs.  The Alien reaching under the door only for Mel to cut its fingers off scared the shit out of me.

Agreed, Obi-Wan is out fucking shit up while Anakin falls off a giant space buffalo and eats fruit using the force.

It's a good thing frogs can hop or I'd have been gone with the Schwinn.

When the Greek fire machine burned down my third den in a row, I said fuck it and just made sure to always bribe heralds until I got my 7 assassins to master class and locked that damn game out.  I HATE TOWER DEFENSE.

Find all of Ishik Pasha's memoir pages and you unlock the Hagia Sophia to mess around in.

Don't worry, they're going to boil the blood before they put it in Frank.

Dennis pulling the can of turpentine from off screen produced the biggest laugh of the night for me.

If duck skin is like human skin, then sign me up, because that shit is delicious.

What I don't get is at the end of the movie, Alyssa Milano embraces Rae Dawn Chong before they board their sea plane.  She's never met this woman before!

I will forever laud Saving Silverman.  Steve Zahn is God damn hysterical in that movie.  Jason Biggs not so much, but he's not really important.

How dare he?  (PUNCH)

That or telling jokes with his workmates over beer at the bar and cracking himself up.

OSC, am I right in identifying your avatar as Michael from "Knightboat"?

As one of those commenters that was praising Phil Lamarr last week, I'd like to say just how fuckin' badass his reading of the oath was at the end of this episode.

Financed by Bill Gates, featuring old Tonight Show styled bumpers with art by Bill Watterson

Phil Lamarr as Green Lantern is the reason I wanted John Stewart to be the version for the movie.  I know DC purists would take umbrage with that, but he's my favorite imagining of the whole Green Lantern character.  Plus he takes down an entire Nazi bomber by himself sans power ring later on in the series.

While I'm sure this review won't be very well received, I will commend Scott for referring to Drake as a "stew-bum".
