Who are these people that hate him and for what reason? Maybe his hotness has blinded me from his horribleness.

"Sound Opinions" is from Chicago Public Radio, not NPR. People make the same mistake with "This American Life."
Hitfix's Dan Fienberg was the reporter in question who asked about facials. Sepinwall's retelling of the panel is a bit more clear:
"Will Harris checks out this new ABC Family show about a teenager accidentally given a job in the fashion industry."
Why is he fan favorite so far, again? Oh that's right, it must be because he's this season's eye candy for lonely housewives. It sure can't be because he's one of the most talented chefs left.
They still haven't been able to top Breaking Bad and Mad Men in terms of quality, but all of their new shows have gotten higher ratings (besides Rubicon), which is what ultimately matters to them.
I had high hopes for this season because there's six chefs from Chicago, but they're not faring too well so far.
It seems like there's another country music awards show or special on every week. Americans sure seem to love their country music so how is it that CMT (if that's still a thing) is not one of the top cable networks?
If Newt Gingrich gets the nomination they might run into more problems since it doesn't seem that Moynihan has a good handle on him yet, though maybe he just didn't bother trying much during his first appearances since at that point no one saw him winning.
But wasn't that a rant from awhile back, and not from any of this week's episodes? That's what I remember reading anyway, I've never actually listened to his podcast, and now with the likes of Glenn Beck praising him, I don't think I'm missing out on much.
If Fallon has no control over who's booked on the show, then why is it that to my knowledge Conan never had any politicians on his shows while on NBC?
Now that he's a Grammy nominee, perhaps he will finally pursue his dream of exclusively singing show tunes in Vegas, while abandoning Family Guy and scrapping plans for that Flintstones reboot. As long as American Dad continues, that would be fine by me.
I'm actually starting to root for Paul. He seems like a decent guy who hasn't gotten much screen time so far, though I'm also partial to the two Chrises, both the "ugly" and the "beautiful" one.
I loved how clearly annoyed Tom was to share a meal with people whose criticisms included that one of the desserts looked too "jiggly-looking."
Fun fact - Tylor's also a gay model who has appeared in Butt Magazine: http://gothamist.com/2011/0…
Did Conan ever have politicians on when he hosted Late Night (or even his new show) because I honestly can't remember. Outside of TDS/Colbert, I think politicians should just stick to things like Meet the Press.
The increase in ratings just seems to encourage them to continue with these predictable plot lines so I'm sure we can expect at least three more seasons of the same formula.
I like Taran Killam too, but I feel a bit bad for Paul Brittain who's shown some potential, but is now basically just that other new white guy that never gets any screen time.
Let me guess, you're a Herman Cain fan that didn't enjoy the interview?
Very true. Check out the Chicago Sun-Times comments section, especially if the article in any way involves a black person. It will surely make you lose all faith in humanity.
