In the movie Sleepaway camp. The aunt of the main character transitions her nephew into a girl. You should be able to do the same thing but the other way around.

That's kind of every episode of Parenthood and one of the things that holds it back from being a really good show.

I doubt anyone will see this but the show you're describing in your last paragraph, Todd, was Men of a Certain Age. While Parenthood is a good show, Men of a Certain Age was more nuanced and less schmaltzy.

Even worse, in the interview with Sepinwall, Milch pretty much says that the third horse dying was a fluke and didn't have anything to do with the rigors of the track.

I think The Corrections pilot has a good chance of being picked considering it's pedigree and all the big name actors attached. I'd think it could be ready for January/February since there'd be very little pre production work, at least relative to a show such as Luck

Yeah, Milch definitely seems to understand HBO's position, as do I. I'm just surprised he was adamant about wanting the show to go forward when the press release indicated that it was a mutual decision between everyone involved to halt production indefinitely.

Reading through that Sepinwall interview, it seems that it was HBO's call on ending the show and wasn't exactly a mutual decision between the creators and the network. Interesting considering it was spun as such.

Waiting for Guffman is my favorite.

Definitely a manipulative film but what exactly made you feel that way about the dead son/father?

This sounds rad, thanks for suggestion.

This seems like good advice for fans getting worked up over this

Lori's come in all shapes and sizes. I roomed with one for a year.

It's more fun if you imagine no one wants to be around Carl and collectively hopes he wanders into something he can't come back from.

Skyler is a great character, i'll never understand the criticisms leveled against her.

"It's still dumb sometimes"

I was only half paying attention and may have missed a line or two but did Lori assume that the other girl wanted to go back as well without so much as asking her?
