I have no real problem with some of the more reasonable libertarians — I don't agree with them, but the underlying question of "how much should the government interfere in the economy?" is a reasonable one. I mean, we all put the balance between altruism and official neutrality SOMEWHERE.
I tend to operate under the assumption that, provided that the venue's acoustics are okay and the sound mixing is competent, any band that uses a whole lot of reverb is going to sound about 50% better than you'd otherwise expect.
