Yes — in some cases the title (such as it is) is given somewhat arbitrarily to someone who is NOT the head writer. All the more reason to dispense with it. If it regularly meant something tangible OTHER than "head writer," or if it always was synonymous with "head writer", that would be different.

Can we go back to just saying "head writer?" It sounds far less silly.

I just think it's funny that this is the only year they renewed ANY comedy with worse ratings than Community. And I'll just about give them Parks because they own it, I'll give them Welcome to Sweden because I know it's cheap for them, but the other one? And all three in conjunction?
