But if the "whole point" of the series is to track the life journey of Jeff Winger, doesn't that just make him the lead even more so?

So do all shows, really. Big premiere, drop episode two, drop a little further, keep dropping, pick up a bit for the last 3-4 episodes.
1.8 would be a miracle. If Community averages even a 1.2-1.3, especially at 8PM Thursdays, Season 6 is almost a guarantee.
She will be!
The show takes place on two soundstages. Soundstage 32 contains the cafeteria, the lounge next to the cafeteria, Abed/Troy/Annie's apartment, and numerous offices (wardrobe/props/craft services/etc.)
Including. Putting the set into storage is standard for pretty much all shows — what's the lot supposed to do, leave it up for six months while another production could be using it? (Network dramas might be different on account of a shorter off-season.)
At least one year after season 4. The impression I got was more along the lines of 2-3 years, but I can't cite a specific reason to believe that.
The Abed/Shirley scene at the end of 502 was longer in the script. There were actually a few things in the episode that seemed a little rushed or truncated compared to what got shot.
I was surprised by it — and I was in the episode. I was in the scene where Jeff points it out. I also forgot about my lines in the classroom. I guess I just don't have a very good memory.
A few of his early singles are okay, I guess, but I have to confess I can't get into most Southern rap.
DISCLAIMER: I know nothing. I don't talk to the writers much; I'm really barely on set.
B+/A-. I liked both episodes a lot, but need to save some room above them for at least 3 of the next 6 episodes. Possibly more than 3. I'm just talking about the ones I saw in person… this show is back, and it's good, but things are about to get serious.
Hulu seems more likely, given that they have an exclusive contract to re-air Community in the US (which is why it's not on Netflix). Or of course Comedy Central. If Community goes that route, which… well, I don't know any more than you do.
It's possibly doing better than the Michael J. Fox show now.
Most of those guys are in the trailer. All of them are in episodes. And from what I've seen, they all have actual punchlines and everything.
I am! 5/13 episodes, same as lass year, but I'd say that Season 5 gave me more to do for the most part.
There almost definitely were. I ended up doing that, like, twenty times from different angles. (And the one in the final cut of the episode is… well, you'll see.)
Then why didn't it move fast enough to have room for Garrett?
…and you're not even in Canada.
DID YOU KNOW: "Ellie Goulding" is actually a pseudonym. These songs are performed by a pitch-shifted Elliott Gould.
