Hey! Actors make good money from those probably-obsolete reruns!

"Abeds of Racism". Well, THERE's your show, FOX.
Well, in that case, I'm not going to mention the guitar riff from "Sweet Child O' Mine"…
I KNOW. Remember when this was a show about an ADVERTISING AGENCY?
I'm just glad to see Theresa Rebeck getting work.
But… this isn't "mov[ing] further and further away from the original theme to reach a broader audience", is it? If anything, it's the opposite — homing in on two specific facets of what they were doing in the first place, and devoting an entire channel to each of them.
What if they have too many shows for that? What if they plan to MAKE too many shows for that? Should they just… not make shows?
Going by batting average, I'd rather have two FXs than one of a lot of channels.
Well, unless they actually produce enough additional shows to justify two networks. (And let's say two, not three. If FXM is just going to show movies, that's a different thing that happens to have a similar name.)
Also, have they noticed that their original channel name is only ONE letter away from "FOX"? Get it together, FX.
…pages blowing in the breeze, charred by the explosion.
Hey! Some of us are fairly successful comedians, thank you very much!
The one-liner is not "a dying art". There have NEVER been more than 2-3 great one-liner comedians per decade. In the last 30-40 years, you have Emo Philips, Steven Wright, Hedberg, Galifianakis… I'd put Dan Mintz on that level. Some people might say Jeselnik or Martin, and I wouldn't begrudge them that. And if you…
He was no Dennis "3-D" Scott, that's for sure.
Nah. Owen isn't playing Starks, he's playing Clyde Frazier. Malkovich is Starks.
Went to Montreal, ordered a rye Manhattan, realized too late that what Canada calls "rye" is not what the rest of the world calls "rye." Damn you, Canada.
That's season 4.
I don't know who "Tony Todd Guy" is — do you mean Brisco Diggs, who played Black Hitler? Or possibly the guy who was Troy's stand-in seasons 1-3? (I'm blanking on his name… but he's worked for the Russo Brothers for years in a variety of crew capacities, and went over with them when they left.)
I've done episodes where I don't have lines or do anything particularly relevant… I'm still credited.
Charles Chen (Chang's stand-in), Bill Parks (who's actually a credited/speaking actor, as stated) and… I don't know the third one.
