There's no "over" — Harmon's contract not being renewed had nothing to do with Chevy Chase and everything to do with the show frequently coming in late and over budget.

It's generally Skinny Pete's fault. That guy is a bad influence.
Wait, which movies did Kurosawa do with Mos Def?
Sure, my beard regenerates when cut, but how can I use that to fight Magneto? I'm such a terrible X-Mennonite.
Wait. Do you think Megan is named Ginsberg? Because that's the only explanation I can think of here.
Also, from Paul Westerberg to Bob Mould in two steps?
It was.
Well, part of that is that they're getting to the part of the '60s that the "TV version" covers. It's all well and good to say "this doesn't seem like the stories other people have told about the decade" when your story is set in 1962 or something. But if you get to '68, you're going to run into some things.
Sometimes I wonder if Matt Weiner knew when they introduced Megan that they were going to have a plotline where Megan was a terrible actress, so he went out to find the worst actress he could for the role.
Wait, what? You mean Ginsberg getting introduced, groundwork being laid, then the character being virtually dropped suddenly and frustratingly?
It wasn't really Peggy's decision, was it? Peggy said she wasn't comfortable with it, Chaough said they were doing it anyway.
I don't think he's that insufferable.
This. Maybe it's just that I was never a big Sonic Youth fan, or maybe that they just always seemed so icy and… social, but the idea of them getting divorced didn't confuse me. But everything I've heard about Yo La Tengo suggests that they're all wrapped up in each other. I envision them at home decades from now,…
Yeah, this has been true at least since mid-Season 4.
Really? Harry Crane?
Bob Benson is in accounts. He took over some of Pete and Ken's accounts, as near as I can remember — they mention it in the premiere.
And Kenneth's real name is Dick Whitman…
Joan's already taken over Lane's role, no? I was under the impression that she took charge of the accounting as soon as Lane died — she was already doing a fair percentage of it, and if someone else was brought in above her, why haven't we seen them?
Stan: "My real name is Steve Whitman!"
Ginsberg: "Wait, what? My real name is Mark Whitman!"
As-yet-unnamed woman copywriter: "My real name is Amy Whitman!"
Ginsberg: "Wait — are we ALL secretly named Whitman, then?"
Don: "I have no clue WHAT you're talking about."
Betty honestly bothers me a lot less than Megan at this point. But it's a lot easier to focus the show when you don't have to rope in a character who has little or no connection with any of the other leads…
