So even The Cleveland Show had a Cleveland? And it wasn't Cleveland? Huh!

148 so far.

Yep. That was my first thought — "I was pretty sure Bob's Burgers was going to be around for a while longer, and this pretty much assures it."

"More love" than a show which will probably end up reaching 200 episodes?

Randy Butternubs — If "Bob's Burgers is like Family Guy done right", and Family Guy is obviously off-model "The Simpsons", and "American Dad" and "The Cleveland Show" are both variations on "Family Guy"… does that mean that Fox has just been programming the same show plus "King of the Hill" on Sundays for years now?

Wow… that's TWO albums I really liked in college and haven't heard in a decade.

If you're allergic to wool, you could have both.

Gran Turismo, of course, being Italian for "Big Tourism".

They're… probably bigger in Europe, though? Or at least Scandinavia?

On the contrary, getting screwed out of your publishing rights is one of the MOST rock 'n' roll things you can do.

Are you… trolling?

Are "cheaply made sitcoms" "the polar opposite of innovation"? If anything, they seem to me like a place where you can make all kinds of innovations.

Is Garfield metal?

Also, even the smaller samples are valid. This is Statistics 101.

Also — "Network does everything one by one. Yes, that allows for time to see what's working and what isn't, but I'm sure there's a middle ground that would be cost-effective but also reactive."

"A lot of regular-life network dramas are very expensive for no reason, which then creates an expectation for higher ratings that the content of the show doesn't deserve."

Yes. The networks would be a lot better off if they could just persuade those pesky cable channels to close up shop. Not sure that's a feasible solution, but if so, it just night work.

Is The Good Wife syndication stripped, or once a week? I seem to recall hearing the latter.

Well, it's hard to tell what the ratings for Community "would have" been — all the other shows that have aired on Thursdays this season are kind of special cases. It's not like you can say "this show was down 10% from last year, so Community would have been the same." Not that it's ever possible to draw that line

Not that that decision had anything to do with NBC.
