Is it, though? I don't watch either, though my wife watches The Walking Dead. (I think she also plans to watch Game of Thrones at some point? I can't keep up with what people plan to watch any more. I casn't even keep up with what I plan to watch.) And even discounting her, I hear 20 times as much about The Walking

It's the "Kangaroo Jack" of dog movies.

Rock 'n' roll? He couldn't even save Radioactive Man.

The Chicago show is in Chicago.

Finally, it's Peter Criss' turn in the spotlight!

Why would they not want more hours of programming to do what they are already doing? This isn't an actor writing a book, this is an author writing two books instead of one. Or something. Networks aren't authors.

And that leads to… marginally lower ratings for a couple months, possibly offset by increased online purchases? After all, the vast majority of FX's current shows get a lot of their viability from live+7, iTunes/DVD purchases, etc. — they're a lot more in touch with that than most broadcast or even cable networks.

It looks like a lot of the existing dramas are staying on FX.

Why? They've generally had a good eye for projects thus far… Charlie Sheen aside, but it's hard to begrudge them too much given that it's obviously a good business decision. It's a little pointlessly pessimistic to assume that there's going to be some vast gulf between the good shows they've been investing in and the

I've never met Mo, but I know her husband, who's a comedian/juggler in the LA area.

Yeah, I meant Heavenly — who I guess you could argue were a Sarah Records band, though their last album or two was released primarily on K as Sarah was defunct. It's a technicality!

Nope, not convinced. They're so… noodly and mid-tempo. I mean, you can forgive them some of the production — it was the '80s at that point, after all — but everything seems designed not to DO anything. And not even in a deliberate, interesting way.

Eh. Best band on K Records was British, though.

I know it's Wire. They had some pretty great demos… imagine what would have happened if they ever recorded a song.

Everyone talks about how similar "Connection" is to "Three Girl Rhumba," but nobody talks about how much better "Connection" is than "Three Girl Rhumba."

Oh, I didn't say Pulp didn't write the same song a bunch of times. Sometimes they switched up the verses a little. I mean, it makes sense — if it takes you ten years to write one song that anyone cares about, you might as well just keep recycling that song as long as the market will bear. Lyrics mostly about spying on

They were also above writing a second song.

I think it might seem more New England-y than intended because there are so many people from New England involved with the show? Loren Bouchard, Mirman, Dan Mintz (well, he's from Alaska, but he went to Harvard)…

I always assumed Rhode Island, because Rhode Island is basically scrubby Massachusetts. (Then again, Family Guy is already there, so that's problematic.) I would have accepted one of the more working-class Long Island towns, but New Jersey works too.

And live+7, online viewing, I have to assume DVD sales…
