I'm not trying to be "snappy", I'm trying to be dismissive. You're bad at this, Travis Gilmore, and it's not worth doing anyway.

Hi there, obvious troll!

I was going to argue with you about this, but then I realized that I wanted to make a basketball argument and mostly agreed with you about TV.

My wife (well, both of us, but it was her idea) subscribed to HBO mostly to watch Boardwalk Empire when it was on, and also Girls. (She's seen a few episodes of Enlightened, and I think she liked it more than I did, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't watch it regularly.) We were thinking of cancelling it, but we watch at

I saw one season 2 episode, and I couldn't handle Laura Dern's character. She gave a speech at the end about how she was going to cause great social change because she had a blog or something, and there was a voiceover, and… ugh, I just couldn't. I just couldn't.

I've cried at a bunch of Futurama episodes. Some of the obvious ones, of course, but also (for whatever reason) the one where Hermes has to file all those documents at the bureaucratic headquarters. I don't know.

Is Rob Corddry completely bald now, though? Last time I saw him, he just had a receding hairline.

I've been thinking about this for a bit, and I'm in a similar boat. I've always thought, "hm, there were some times they didn't quite know what to do with Chang", but then I liked the episode(s) where he took over Greendale, and I really liked the film noir subplot, and I liked a lot of the security guard episodes.

I never asked, but we filmed this almost 6 months ago, so that seemed like the likely reason.

Sure, I'd watch Gillian Jacobs as a spy. Or as practically anything.

John Oliver hasn't been on the show since, like, episode 6. He was a guest star.

Well, it's going back to Greendale, which I think is a good thing… one of the kind of weird things is that they put so many off-campus episodes (I know 1 was technically on campus) up front. Nothing wrong with going off-campus, of course, but I think that if you want to convey a rhythm, you might want to ground the

I think this points (somewhat indirectly) to one of the most confounding things with people complaining about the new season: they're looking at three episodes and expecting to find all the depth and variety of three seasons. Doesn't work that way.

5. Episodes 4, 6, 7, one of the last three, and the last one.

He's got a fairly major role in episode 6 — which might be my favorite of the episodes I did this year.

Hm… the album version, no less?

Mmmmmm…. boiled leather.

Shia LeBeouf has only 7,000 Twitter followers. I don't know how it is not more obvious to people that nobody cares about Shia LeBeouf.

"Twee"? What does any of this have to do with '80s-'90s indie pop music?

There's only a certain number of years you can do things — it makes sense to pack as many things as possible into those years.
