They should have named the comedy network FXXX, it would save us any confusion
Breaking Bad and Grand Theft Auto 5. All other answers are invalid
I expect Breaking Bad to take up this entire list by the end of September
Will Arnett better be nominated for a Emmy
Except Gob got the best storyline throughout the entire season. Which were episodes 7 and 11
There was a lot of interesting things going on in the Patriot. It seemed like Jason Isaacs was already in Lucius Malfoy form because his acting in the Patriot is literally the same way he played Lucius all throughout the Harry Potter series.
The Devil's Advocate isn't a terrible movie. I don't know what this article is leading on. It has a 66% average on Rotten Tomatoes and certified fresh.
Unfortunately looks like zero chance this airs on HBO. I doubt the show gets picked up even if Sony wants to pick it up. AMC didn't like Breaking Bad in the first place and was on the verge of canceling it until Sony gave them more money
Why is it AVClub doesn't give a crap about any show that isn't The Wire or Arrested Development. The Larry Sanders Show gets minimal comments, Six Feet Under minimal and The Shield minimal.
It didn't blow up the show. No characters died except Pete's mother. A more appropriate title would be Game of Thrones Season 3 blew up the show
Superman Returns is pure gold compared to some other stinker comic book movies like Daredevil, Spider Man 3, Green Lanter, Green Hornet, etc.
So what does everyone think Matthew Weiner will do after Mad Men is done next year? If I had to guess he'll make another TV show but this time it will be on HBO. HBO will no longer pass up the opportunity to work with him even if the show is a stinker. I'd bet this show is on the air in 2015 or 2016.
I'd argue this was the second best season finale of the show. Season 3's finale was still better in my opinion. This episode was a lot better than Season 5's finale which was probably the weakest one.
I think many people will disagree about season 5 being on top. I'd argue that's the season Mad Men lost a lot of it's momentum. The show certainly won't be winning another best drama series emmy after not winning it in season 5. Season 6 rebounded above 5 to me.
Your argument doesn't make that much sense. James Bond has been going strong for over 50 years and 23 movies. Obviously they all vary in quality but the best James Bond movie is still debateable. In my top 10 James Bond movies list I have at least 1 movie from each decade.
I think all these tributes not only affirms that The Sopranos is the greatest show of all time but that James Gandolfini gave us one of the greatest television performance. The only one that is on par with Tony Soprano is Walter White
Seems like the press all jerk each other off these days. Everyone has the same opinions on stuff. Kanye West would be an average rapper at best back in the 80s and 90s. It's only the beats and vulgar catchphrases in each song that make him standout today.
Also Ken is Big Boss from Metal Gear Solid!
The douchebag level of Don has reached a 10/10 now. There's really nothing even likeable about him anymore. His wife doesn't like him, his co-workers don't like him and his kids don't even like him. Tony Soprano never sunk this low.
