I really hope Nathan goes straight through till Season 5 at least.  If he were to go up till season 8 without stopping it would still take well over another 2 years with one episode a week.  With a break in between each season thats 3 years

I think the greatest 3 string of episodes in Simpsons history are Cape Feare, Homer Goes to College and Rosebud.  Season 5 is arguably better than Season 4.  Really season 4, 5 or 6 could be argued for.  It just depends on your mood.  3, 7 and 8 are also awesome
